Bio Pack & Technology (Pvt) Limited manufactures and develops biodegradable and sustainably sourced paper-based packaging products that make a valuable contribution to the environment and the wider society by reducing pollution and non-degradable waste that ends in landfills. Accordingly, we have introduced specially designed products targeting large corporate clients who are concerned with Green concepts. We already have an excellent demand for paper-based lunch boxes, cups, containers, paper lids from the Sri Lankan market. We are proud to announce that, with the commencement of operation at our new factory in Hanwella, we are also producing confectionery trays, drinking straws, Ice Cream containers and supermarket food trays

We are committed to provide quality prioritized, adroit, and food safety assured solutions for all our stakeholders consistently, covering the scope of “Manufacturing of paper based rigid packaging; Offset/ Flexo Printing, Die Cutting, Forming of (cups, tubs, lids, spoons, lunch-sheets, lunch boxes, trays) for food industries” by optimizing potentials through synergism, quality, product safety, competency, dedication, professionalism, and maximizing the use of “state-of-the-art” technology, while complying stakeholders and interested parties’ product safety, quality, statutory-regulatory, and all other requirements. We are committed to continual improvement of the management system of ours.

We at Bio Pack assure products of ours are free of material based contaminative allergen, with valid scientific documentations and are, free of cross contaminative allergens as, cereals containing gluten-wheat, rye, barley, oats, spelts, kamut or their hybrid strains, crustaceans, egg, fish, lupin, milk, molluscs, nuts, almond, hazelnut, walnut, cashew, peanut, bazil nut, pistachio nut, macadamia nut & queensland nut, peanut, soya, sesame, celery & celeriac mustard, sulphur dioxide and sulphites. We are committed to prevent all the possible outbreaks of allergen contamination based poisoning for our customers and continually plan our operations to comply with Regulation (EU) No 1169/2011 on the provision of food information to consumer.

We at Bio Pack Technology (Pvt) Ltd make every effort to ensure that the Packaging Materials being supplied to our customer is free of physical hazards. Therefore we avoid the use of ordinary glass, porcelain and enamelware in the production areas.

Wherever possible we use stainless steel or toughened plastic equivalents. All fluorescent tubes are filled with diffusers or safety coated light strips. Glass containers, glass mirrors and gauge covers are eliminated from the preparation area. Use stainless steel or toughened plastic equivalents are used.

Using Glass bottles or any other glass material in is strictly prohibited in production premises

In the event of any glass breakage General Manager is notifying,

  • Production and preparation cease where contamination is likely.
  • Products which are likely to be contaminated are discarding.
  • The glass / fragments are carefully cleared up into a dustpan and transferred to a suitable container.
  • All areas in the immediate vicinity are cleaning thoroughly.
  • The whole area is inspecting carefully.
